How the Salzburg Card works

The Salzburg Card is the official tourist card of the city of Salzburg, available for 24, 48 or 72 hours. It gives you free admission to over 20 sights and museums as well as free use of public transport during the period of validity.

    Buy Salzburg Card

    The Salzburg Card can be purchased online or on site in Salzburg. When purchasing online, you will receive a voucher.

    Pick up card

    Exchange your voucher for the Salzburg Card at one of the redemption points.

    Activation of the card

    The Salzburg Card is activated by entering the cardholder's name and the date and time of first use on the back of the card. The card can then be used at all participating sights and on public transport.

    Use of the card

    During the period of validity, the Salzburg Card entitles the holder to free use of public transportation in the city of Salzburg and free admission to all sights and museums included in the scope of services. At the attractions, the card is presented at the entrance and electronically recorded. It is valid as a ticket on local public transport. Each included attraction can be visited once free of charge with the card.
