Salzburg Card: Prices at a Glance
The Salzburg Card is available in three validity periods - 24, 48 or 72 hours, for adults and children. Every option includes the same benefits; only the duration differs. Validity starts with your first use.
High season (1 April to 31 October)

What Is Included in the Price
Regardless of the duration you choose, the card covers:
- Free single entry to around 30 attractions and museums, from Hohensalzburg Fortress and Mozart's birthplace to Hellbrunn Palace.
- Free public transport within the city, plus the Fortress railway, Untersberg cable car, Monchsberg lift and Salzach river boat. More details on the Public Transport page.
- Discounts on concerts, cultural events and further excursions.
Which Duration Is Right for You?
Even a handful of visits will cover the cost of the card. Hohensalzburg Fortress, one of the Mozart houses and the House of Nature already cost more individually than the 24-hour card at 38.50 € - making it the right choice for a compact day. If you also want to include excursions such as the Untersberg cable car or Hellbrunn Palace, spreading your visit over two or three days makes sense: the 48-hour card (45.50 €) works out at just under 23 € per day, the 72-hour card (49.50 €) at under 17 € per day. Cancellations: unused vouchers can be cancelled or changed free of charge up to 24 hours before your visit date.
