Salzburg Card: Prices at a Glance

The Salzburg Card is available in three validity periods. You book online via Tiqets and receive a voucher immediately by email, which you exchange for the physical card on arrival. Validity starts with your first use. You can check the current price at any time in the booking widget.

Duration Adults (16+) Children (6-15)
24 hours from €41.80 from €20.90
48 hours from €49.50 from €24.75
72 hours from €53.90 from €26.95

Children under 6 generally do not need their own card. Prices are per person per card.

What Is Included in the Price

Every option includes the same benefits - only the validity period differs:

  • Free single entry to more than 30 attractions and museums, from Hohensalzburg Fortress and Mozart's birthplace to Hellbrunn Palace.
  • Free public transport within the city, plus the Fortress railway, Untersberg cable car, Monchsberg lift and Salzach river boat. More details on the Public Transport page.
  • Discounts on concerts, cultural events and further excursions.

Which Duration Is Right for You?

Just three or four visits will already cover the cost of the card. For a compact day taking in the Fortress, one of the Mozart houses and the House of Nature, the 24-hour card is ideal. If you also want to fit in excursions such as the Untersberg cable car or Hellbrunn Palace, spreading your visit over two or three days with the 48- or 72-hour card works out better value per day. Find out which attractions are most worthwhile on the Attractions page.

Cancellations: unused vouchers can be cancelled or changed free of charge up to 24 hours before your visit date.
