What the Salzburg Card Covers
The Salzburg Card gives you access to over 20 museums and sights in and around Salzburg, each free to visit once. You also travel free on trolleybuses and buses within the city (see the Public Transport page for details). Buy once and walk straight in everywhere, no queuing for tickets.

The Top Highlights
Hohensalzburg Fortress is the city's landmark and the largest fully preserved castle in Central Europe. The Fortress Railway carries you up to the top, where you will find the princely chambers, the fortress museum and the finest view over Salzburg, all included in the card.
Mozart's Birthplace on the Getreidegasse and Mozart's Residence on Makartplatz tell the story of Salzburg's most famous family. If you are after nature and panoramic views, take the Untersberg Cable Car to around 1,850 metres in under ten minutes, or ride the Mönchsberg Lift up to the Museum of Modern Art.

Is It Worth It?
Even three or four visits make it pay for itself. Visit Hohensalzburg Fortress, one of the Mozart houses and the House of Nature, and take the Untersberg Cable Car, and you will quickly exceed the card price on individual tickets. Can I visit an attraction more than once?+
No. Each attraction can be visited once free of charge. Further visits to the same sight are at the regular admission price.
Are cable cars and boat trips included?+
Yes. You can use the Fortress Railway, the Untersberg Cable Car, the Mönchsberg Lift and the Salzach Boat Trip free of charge, each once.
